Under The Waves ( Original Game Soundtrack)

Description

System requirements

Under the Waves OST is a 21-track piece of art composed by Nicolas Bredin, influenced by Icelandic composers such as Valgeir Sigurdsson and Ólafur Arnalds, as well as post-rock bands like Mogwai, Sigur Ros and Radiohead.

This soundtrack is for players who like to listen slowly, often long after they have put the game down. It sounds calm and a bit melancholic without ever feeling heavy: more like drifting than being pushed somewhere. It works as background music for work or reading, and as a way to revisit the mood you felt while playing. What to expect: - The soundtrack stands on its own, so you can play it in the evening without thinking about the story. - Tracks flow into one another, so it listens like a single album rather than a random set of pieces. - The mood keeps shifting, with bright melodies giving way to uneasy ones, and it feels intentional. - A good pick for anyone who wants music with character to add to their collection. The base game Under The Waves is needed on the account for the soundtrack to play alongside it. Under the Waves OST is a 21-track piece of art composed by Nicolas Bredin, influenced by Icelandic composers such as Valgeir Sigurdsson and Ólafur Arnalds, as well as post-rock bands like Mogwai, Sigur Ros and Radiohead. This ambient soundtrack perfectly illustrates the game's characters and atmosphere through a medidative and melancholic soundscape. Plus it plays with the ambiguity of the characters by frequently switching from major to minor.
