Victoria 3: Colossus of the South - Region Pack (DLC)

Description

Rich in culture and resources, South America enters the Victorian Age. Many challenges await nations newly freed from European dominance. Stake your claim on the future of the Southern Hemisphere in Colossus of the South, a new Region Pack for Victoria 3.

If you have always wanted to play South America in the 19th century, this expansion is worth a look. It centres on Brazil: an empire that abolishes slavery from the top down, a fragile monarchy, and a young republic where landowners hold most of the cards. What hooks you: - Your first sessions go to Brazil under Pedro II: reforms, modernisation, and the constant effort to keep the country from falling apart. - The Amazon is rich in resources, but exploiting it means dealing with unrest and international disputes, not just trade deals. - Domestic politics are sharper than usual: an agrarian oligarchy, bandits and a populist movement keep pulling the country in different directions. - Neighbours do not stand still either: Paraguay, Gran Colombia and pan-national projects bring new events and different paths. The expansion requires the base game Victoria 3.
