This one is for players who enjoy watching big naval fights from above and thinking through how to move a fleet across dangerous waters. It's set in the Pacific in 1942, with the Solomon Islands as the main battleground, and every convoy has to actually make it to port. The mood is calm and tense at the same time: you place your ships carefully and wait for the enemy to make a mistake. What to expect: - At first, your time goes to learning how to stay afloat: ships are heavy, and the buoyancy physics makes every hit matter. - You can play as the Allies or as Imperial Japan, and those are two quite different jobs. - Air units are managed tactically rather than as a flight sim, so air battles stay easy to follow. - The historical missions are built on real naval engagements, so each battle is a good reason to read up on what happened.
