This add-on is for people who like long approaches and airports where you can lose yourself for half an hour. Berlin's BER was a running joke for years because of its construction delays, but now it is open, and the detail in X-Plane 12 looks very good. It is a nice place to fly slowly and take your time, just looking at taxiways and aprons. The highlights: - Early on, your time goes to getting to know both airports: the new BER and the old Schönefeld, with easy switching between them. - Good if you want some routine: carry passengers, guests and cargo from different terminals, including the renamed Terminal 5. - Animated jet bridges and approach lights (with the SAM plugin) add the kind of life many sim airports lack. - Over 100 km² of surrounding scenery with high-resolution aerial photos, so there is plenty to look at beyond the runway.
