X-Plane 12 Add-on: FSDesigns - Alliance Municipal Airport (DLC)

Description

System requirements

Welcome to Alliance! Alliance Municipal Airport, just about 3 miles southeast of the town of Alliance is statistically known as the least used airport in mainland USA. It offers scheduled passenger flights from, and to Denver with Denver Air Connection on the Fairchild Metroliner

If you like quiet airfields tucked away in the middle of nowhere, this add-on is made for you. Alliance in Nebraska has long been one of the least busy airports on the American mainland, and the place has a calm, slightly nostalgic mood. You line up on the runway with almost nothing but open prairie around you, which is exactly what many people come to X-Plane for. What hooks you: - Your first flights are scheduled runs carrying passengers to Denver and back, so you can build a route for an evening. - The field was built for paratroopers and special-ops aviators, and the long runways for C-47s next to the short ones for towed gliders are easy to notice on approach. - Hand-placed objects are scattered across the field and around it, giving you plenty to look at on the ground. - Orthophotos cover several miles around the airport, so the surroundings look recognizable rather than like backdrop. To buy X-Plane 12 Add-on: FSDesigns - Alliance Municipal Airport (DLC) as a Steam gift, send us your Steam friend invite link, and we will add you as a friend and send the game as a gift straight to your account. You need the base game X-Plane 12 on the account. Welcome to Alliance! Alliance Municipal Airport, just about 3 miles southeast of the town of Alliance is statistically known as the least used airport in mainland USA. It offers scheduled passenger flights from, and to Denver with Denver Air Connection on the Fairchild Metroliner (We recommend StarvingPilot’s freeware metroliner on the forums). Going back in time, in 1942 the USAAF built Alliance Municipal Airport during World War 2, as one of the 11 USAAF training airfields found in the state of Nebraska. This airfield was intended to serve as a training facility for paratroops and air commandos in which long runways were required for aircraft such as C-47 Skytrains, and smaller runways used for tow gliders. Between April 2021-March 2022 Denver Air Connection transported 4,000 passengers on routine flights from Denver to Alliance and back. Features: - Over 5 miles of orthoimagery for the airport and its surroundings - High quality 3D modeling and texturing with PBR - Fully custom 4K PBR ground textures - Latest airport layout data - Hundreds of custom objects hand placed all around the airfield and its surroundings for added immersion - Extremely well optimized FPS friendly environment - High attention to detail with wear and tear effects using the latest technology
